What ever happened to Janet Jackson’s & Paula Abdul’s movie ?

At one point, Janet Jackson & Paula Abdul were set to make a movie together. But, they argued over it. I’m wondering did they ever make it or did it fall through ? Would anyone out there know about this event ?
